Key Qualifications
- Active RN license applicable to school settings
- Demonstrated school nursing experience preferred
- Required pediatric nursing background (experience working with children)
- Skilled in NG-tube care (not G-tube)
- Ability to safely lift and transport a non-ambulatory child (approx. 24 lbs.)
- Comfortable with onsite assignments; virtual is not available
- Deliver direct health care and NG-tube feeding assistance during school hours (8am-3pm)
- Support safe lifting, transferring, and transportation, including accompanying the student on the bus
- Monitor the student’s medical needs throughout the school day
- Collaborate with educational staff to ensure an inclusive learning environment
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records as required
- Stable weekday schedule with approximately 35 hours per week
