Registered Nurse School Setting in Burnsville, MN

A school-based registered nurse is needed to provide comprehensive health services at an elementary school located in Burnsville, MN. This contract position follows the school calendar with a schedule Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, ideal for candidates with experience in school nursing or pediatric care.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Managing daily medication administration for students
• Performing tube feeding as required
• Communicating effectively with families regarding student health needs
• Conducting hearing and vision screenings for Special Education evaluations
• Handling third-party billing for eligible students
• Adhering to established healthcare policies and procedures within the school system
  
  

Preferred candidates will have prior experience in a school nursing role or pediatric healthcare setting to ensure familiarity with the unique health needs of children in an educational environment.
