Key Qualifications & Experience
- Active and valid RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
- BLS certification (current and in good standing)
- Knowledge of current operating room practices, sterile technique, and surgical instrumentation
- Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and maintain patient safety
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving patient and department needs
- Prepare operating room and instruments for surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs throughout procedures
