Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Montgomery, Alabama

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts weekly
  
  

Key Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in an Operating Room
• Willingness to consider first-time travelers who meet experience requirements
• Preferred background: minimum 2 years in a non-travel RN OR role prior to travel
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
• Expertise with robotic-assisted surgeries is essential
• Strong circulating skills across core specialties: General, GYN, Urology, and Vascular
• Experience or comfort with a diverse patient population, including GYN, Urology, Vascular, Ortho, Podiatry, ENT, and Robotics; Pediatric Dental experience is a plus, though not required
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating RN duties for a range of elective and emergent surgical procedures in a six-room OR suite
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal surgical outcomes and patient safety
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols including decontamination and sterilization practices in collaboration with Central Sterile
• Deliver individualized 1:1 care to patients, ensuring their clinical needs and comfort are met throughout surgical procedures
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in robotic procedures and technology
• Document patient care accurately in accordance with hospital standards

$2,193 - $2,312/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
