Radiology Technologist - Waterloo, Iowa

This opportunity invites a skilled Imaging professional with expertise in X-ray to support a dynamic healthcare team. The role involves working in a busy environment serving outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and surgical settings with state-of-the-art Siemens X-ray equipment and GE C-arm in surgery. The contract position offers the chance to apply your technical skills in a variety of patient care scenarios while contributing to high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality X-ray imaging for outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, and surgical patients
• Utilize Siemens and GE C-arm equipment efficiently and accurately
• Transport emergency patients and escort outpatients as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient comfort and safety
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC electronic medical records system
  
  

Qualifications / Desired Experience

• Proven experience in X-ray imaging and diagnostic procedures
• Comfort working across multiple care settings including ED and surgery
• Ability to manage fast-paced workflow with 100-120 scans daily
• Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment and GE C-arm an advantage
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR for recording patient data
  
  

Schedule & Benefits

• 36-40 hours per week with overtime billable after 40 hours; up to 48 hours with OT beyond 48 hours billable
• Overtime and holiday work compensated at 1.15x multiplier
• Call back pay at 1.5x multiplier, minimum of 2 hours
• On-call compensation at $9/hr
• Charge/Precept pay at $6/hr
