Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Opportunity available for a skilled Radiology/X-ray Technologist in a dynamic neurosurgery and neurology outpatient clinic environment. This role centers on providing quality imaging services, collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team, and working with a diverse patient population—including adults and pediatrics—requiring spine, head, and injection imaging.
Schedule:
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No weekends, on-call, or holiday coverage required
- Minimal floating, with extremely rare coverage at nearby campuses
Key Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (R) certification and BLS required
- Minimum of 2 years of imaging experience, including with spine and head diagnostics (some procedures can be taught if needed)
- Experience utilizing both C-arm and standard X-ray equipment
- Comfortable in a fast-paced clinic setting with high patient volumes
- Willingness to assist with ancillary tasks such as CD creation and light administrative duties
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR and PACS systems (Intellaspace preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders for both adult and pediatric patients
- Support the injection suite, assisting with room prep and limited imaging guidance (no sedation or anesthesia required)
- Collaborate closely with RNs, CNAs, other technologists, front desk, and medical providers to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation within hospital systems
- Uphold departmental protocols for safety, infection control, and confidentiality
