Radiation Therapist | Utica, New York

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Radiation Therapist to provide exceptional care within a Radiation Oncology unit. This role involves delivering precise radiation treatments using advanced technology and collaborating closely with oncology teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments utilizing Varian 2300ix and Varian EDGE Truebeam systems.
• Perform imaging and simulation procedures using Siemens CT large bore equipment.
• Accurately document patient treatments and progress in Electronic Medical Records (ARIA) and maintain familiarity with EPIC systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to customize treatment plans and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate patient treatment times within standard hours.
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Current New York State Radiation Therapist license is mandatory.
• Proven experience operating Varian 2300ix and Varian EDGE Truebeam radiation therapy equipment.
• Proficient in using Siemens CT large bore for simulation processes.
• Skilled in Electronic Medical Records management, especially ARIA and EPIC systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate patient care effectively.
  
  

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, primarily 8-hour days with some variable hours to meet patient needs.
• 37.5 hours per week.
