Responsibilities
- Administer radiation treatment plans using Varian Linear Accelerator equipment including TrueBeam and 23ix systems
- Operate ARIA Oncology Treatment System for precise treatment planning and delivery
- Utilize VisionRT (Surface Guided Radiation Therapy - SGRT) for enhanced patient positioning and treatment accuracy (preferred)
- Work with Bravos HDR Varian System and Phillips CT Simulator (CT Sim) as part of comprehensive cancer treatment
- Treat a diverse range of cancer cases, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care
- Collaborate closely with oncologists, medical physicists, and nursing staff to optimize treatment outcomes
- Proven experience with Varian Radiation Equipment and Oncology Systems (TrueBeam, 23ix, ARIA)
- Familiarity or preferred experience with VisionRT (SGRT) technology
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to handle complex cases with professionalism and compassion
- Relevant certifications and licensure as required for a Radiation Therapist in New York
