Qualifications And Experience
- Current ARRT certification or equivalent in Radiologic Technology
- Valid state license as required for radiologic practice
- Proven experience as a Radiology/X-ray Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting
- Proficiency in operating digital and conventional imaging equipment
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety procedures and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow physician instructions accurately
- Outstanding organizational skills and patient-focused attitude
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Perform diagnostic X-ray and radiology exams, producing high-quality images as ordered by physicians
- Prep patients for imaging procedures, verify patient identification, and ensure comfort and safety throughout exams
- Maintain a sterile and safe work environment by adhering to infection control protocols
- Accurately document procedures and update patient records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, referring clinicians, and departmental staff as part of a comprehensive care team
- Monitor equipment for proper functioning; report and document technical issues as needed
- Support quality assurance initiatives and contribute to ongoing workplace improvements
