Pharmacy Technician - La Vergne, TN

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1 years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy technician position is available to support a busy mail order renal specialty pharmacy filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This opportunity is a 13-week contract with potential to convert to full-time employment.

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Immediate start preferred
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Perform customer service tasks, including verifying shipping details and updating patient profiles
• Enter new patient information accurately into the pharmacy system
• Fill and dispense medications precisely in compliance with pharmacy protocols
• Utilize Wellsky pharmacy software for order entry (no automation systems involved)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license strongly preferred
• National PTCB certification is highly desired but not mandatory
• Solid experience working as a pharmacy technician in a retail or specialty pharmacy setting
• Detail-oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment
