An infusion pharmacy seeks an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician for an immediate opening in Nashville, TN. This position offers an 8-week contract assignment with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance.
Schedule/Hours
- Monday to Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Prepare IV medications and fill prescriptions under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
- Assist in prepackaging medications for dispensing according to regulatory standards.
- Support the final check of filled prescriptions and coordinate timely delivery to customers.
- Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to enter data into computer systems for reimbursement.
- Help maintain inventory accuracy by receiving, rotating medications, and tracking expiration dates.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of work environment, including equipment calibration checks.
- Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license required.
- IV certification and prior intravenous preparation experience mandatory.
- National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced infusion center environment.
