Location:
- Peridot, Arizona
- Remote tribal clinic/hospital setting
- 10-hour day shifts
- Assist the pharmacy team in preparing and dispensing medications
- Manage medication inventory using the RPMS system, a proprietary IT platform commonly used in Indian Health Service (IHS) hospitals and clinics, similar to the VA’s Vista system
- Support hospital-based pharmacy operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols
- Communicate effectively with healthcare staff and patients to ensure optimal medication management
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license
- Experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred; retail-only backgrounds may not be ideal
- Willingness to work in a remote, tribal healthcare environment
- Positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills
- Inexpensive on-campus housing available ($400/month) with private bedrooms and shared bath and kitchen facilities; housing is non-coed and shared among three individuals per apartment
