Pharmacy Technician in Hollywood, FL

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1 years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations with data entry and related duties. This role is based in Hollywood, FL, and offers a contract position starting as soon as possible. The assignment is expected to last 6-8 weeks with a potential extension.

Schedule/Hours

• 3-4 days per week
• Monday to Friday shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday shift: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (as needed)
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter prescription and patient data into pharmacy databases
• Assist pharmacists and pharmacy staff in daily operations to ensure timely service
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Verify and update medication and inventory records to support pharmacy workflow
• Perform general clerical duties to enhance efficiency within the pharmacy team
  
  

Desired Experience And Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with pharmacy terminology and workflows
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
