Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A 13-week pharmacy contract opportunity is available in Minneapolis, MN, offering the chance to serve as a staff pharmacist in a fast-paced environment. This role is a priority backfill due to a recent project transition and requires a candidate who can start immediately and adapt quickly to shifting schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Accept and accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor patient medication usage and maintain confidential records.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, drug interactions, and medical device operation.
• Provide services such as smoking cessation support, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management.
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions according to protocols.
• Supervise pharmacy support staff including technicians and clerks.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to resolve drug-related patient issues.
• Manage pharmaceutical and medical inventory effectively.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Licensed Pharmacist with current Minnesota (MN) license.
• Open to training retail pharmacists without prior hospital experience.
• Flexible availability to work rotating shifts between 9:30 AM and 8:30 PM, including weekends.
  
  

Schedule

• Rotating shifts: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, or 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM.
• Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a rotating basis.
