Pharmacist in Covington, KY

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to support increased prescription volume at a busy digital/mail order pharmacy serving all 50 states plus DC. This role offers the chance to work in an evolving environment dispensing mostly generic medications, with some brand and specialty items, through a fast-growing fulfillment platform.

Location: Covington, KY

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Contract Length: 13 weeks, starting ASAP

Responsibilities

• Complete full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and medication fulfillment
• Accurately check and verify prescriptions
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Adapt quickly to a high-volume and dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail
  
  

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Valid pharmacy license in Kentucky (Cincinnati, OH pharmacists are encouraged to verify KY licensure)
• Experience in high-volume retail pharmacy preferred to meet the demands of rapid prescription processing
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting with strong communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle an increased workload effectively
