A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to provide interim leadership within a 340B pharmacy setting. This role requires a candidate with multiple pharmacy licenses, ideally across numerous states including AK, AL, AR, CA, IA, ID, IL, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, OR, TN, TX, VA, and WV. The position primarily serves locations in New York and California, where onsite presence is mandatory depending on the emergency need.

- Contract, 3 to 6 months duration
Schedule:
- Day and afternoon shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all Pharmacist in Charge duties ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Oversee pharmacy operations at a 340B pharmacy
- Step in promptly to lead when current PICs resign, maintaining continuity and high standards
- Manage staff, oversee inventory, and ensure quality patient service
- Maintain multi-state licensure requirements as applicable
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active pharmacist licenses in multiple states from the following list: AK, AL, AR, CA, IA, ID, IL, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, OR, TN, TX, VA, and WV; practicing as many licenses as possible is preferred
- Strong leadership and management skills in pharmacy operations
- Experience working within 340B pharmacy programs
- Ability and willingness to work physically onsite in NY or CA based on urgent needs
Additional Information:
- Travel costs for non-local candidates will be covered
- Competitive hourly compensation in the range of $65 to $70 per hour (negotiable)
