Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Whittier, California

A healthcare facility is seeking a Per Diem Inpatient Pharmacist to provide quality pharmaceutical services during weekend coverage. This role involves working within a small hospital environment, supporting patient care by verifying medication orders and supervising pharmacy technicians.

• Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (3/28)
• Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (3/29)
  
  

Responsibilities

• Verify and check medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in medication preparation and distribution
• Utilize the CPSI electronic medical record system effectively to manage prescriptions and patient information
• Maintain compliance with hospital standards, with recent hospital experience (within 12 months) accepted
  
  

Desired Experience And Qualifications

• Current California Pharmacist license
• Experience working in an inpatient pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with CPSI EMR preferred
• Ability to work independently and support a small hospital pharmacy team
