Per Diem Retail Pharmacist - Deltona, FL

A Per Diem pharmacist role is available supporting specialized retail pharmacy services with a focus on HIV/AIDS care. This opportunity requires a professional who demonstrates sensitivity, respect, and empathy in providing pharmaceutical care to the HIV/AIDS patient population. Coverage is needed at multiple locations in the Deltona, FL area, including a community AIDS network facility and a retail pharmacy site.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and counsel patients on HIV/AIDS medications with accuracy and care
• Build trusting relationships with patients through respectful, non-judgmental communication
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Proactively identify pharmacy workflow needs and provide support where necessary
• Deliver consistent, high-quality patient care and maintain professional standards
• Utilize QS1 pharmacy software efficiently for daily operations
  
  

Schedule & Location:

• Per Diem assignments in Deltona, FL and surrounding areas
• Operation hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM 12:30 PM
• No weekend shifts required
• Coverage dates include: 8/28, 9/8, 9/16, 9/17, and 9/23
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Florida Pharmacist License in good standing
• Minimum 1-2 years of retail or specialty experience in HIV/AIDS medication dispensing
• Demonstrated familiarity and comfort working with the HIV/AIDS patient population
• Proficient with QS1 pharmacy software or similar platforms
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, including engagement with healthcare providers
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
