Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Portland, OR

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1 years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in Portland, OR, on a per diem basis. This role involves dispensing medications accurately, offering expert guidance to patients regarding their prescriptions, and ensuring exceptional customer service within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Distribute medications as prescribed by licensed physicians and healthcare practitioners
• Provide detailed information and answer patient inquiries concerning medication use, side effects, and storage
• Maintain a high standard of customer service to support patient satisfaction and safety
• Assist in inventory management and pharmacy workflow to enhance operational efficiency
  
  

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Pharmacy Technician license is required
• Experience in retail pharmacy or long-term care settings is strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in medication dispensing
  
  

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8.5 hours per day) for the duration of the assignment
