Join a dynamic retail pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician on a per diem basis, supporting daily operations and delivering exceptional patient care. This role focuses on accurate prescription processing, inventory management, and customer service within a busy pharmacy environment.
Location:
- Newark, New Jersey
Schedule/Hours:
- 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Specific assignment dates: May 18th, May 22nd, May 27th-29th, June 1st-5th
Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy system.
- Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescription medications safely and efficiently.
- Manage and order over-the-counter inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to customers, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Work with third-party insurance plans to resolve prescription adjudication issues and ensure smooth processing.
Qualifications:
- Possess a clear and active Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey.
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred to better serve the diverse community.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
