Per Diem Pharmacy Tech | Gastonia, North Carolina

This per diem Pharmacy Technician position supports a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) 340B pharmacy setting. The role is ideal for candidates comfortable working with underserved patient populations in a one pharmacist, one technician environment. This opportunity typically requires coverage for approximately two shifts per month, primarily for call-offs, PTO, or vacation coverage.

Location: Charlotte, NC

Schedule/Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM; no weekends

Duration: PRN, as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions utilizing PioneerRx system
• Provide compassionate, patient-focused care to an underserved population
• Support pharmacy operations in a setting with one pharmacist and one technician
• Effectively communicate with patients and healthcare providers, potentially in Spanish
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Valid NC Pharmacy Technician license
• Recent experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably within an FQHC setting
• Comfort working independently alongside one pharmacist
• Familiarity with working with underserved patient populations preferred
• Spanish language skills are a plus, especially if the supervising pharmacist also speaks Spanish
