Per Diem Pharmacist - Stone Mountain, GA

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide essential pharmacy services as a Staff Pharmacist supporting a family of four independently owned pharmacies within the Atlanta metro area. This per diem role offers the opportunity to start by covering one location and potentially expand into a part-time floater position, covering up to 30-35 hours weekly across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense and verify prescriptions accurately, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction
• Provide counseling and medication information to patients
• Manage daily retail pharmacy operations within a high-volume setting (100-150 prescriptions per day)
• Utilize pharmacy software PrimeRX to maintain accurate records and streamline workflows
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to optimize service delivery and address patient needs
  
  

Desired Experience And Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in the state of Georgia
• Prior experience in retail pharmacy settings preferred
• Familiarity with PrimeRX software is a strong advantage
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to cover multiple pharmacy locations as required
  
  

Work Schedule

• Primarily 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM shifts
• Per diem with potential to transition to part-time floater role
