Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Stone Mountain, Georgia

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A growing pharmacy group is seeking a proactive Staff Pharmacist to provide essential support across a family of four independently owned pharmacies in the Atlanta metro area. This per diem opportunity offers flexibility and the potential to expand into a part-time floater position covering multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform primary retail pharmacy duties, including dispensing and counseling
• Manage a daily volume of 100-150 prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
• Handle specialty medications and prepare packaging for delivery via mail and courier
• Float between pharmacy sites, offering adaptable support to meet each location’s needs
• Engage with a diverse patient population to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with PrimeRX pharmacy software is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of specialty medications and compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Ability to work 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM shifts, with flexible scheduling across sites

This role begins as per diem with growth potential into a part-time position covering 30-35 hours weekly across multiple locations. The group operates pharmacies in six states, providing opportunities for professional growth and collaboration within a well-established network.
