Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Essex Junction, VT

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a maternity leave contract from April 22, 2026, to June 15, 2026, in an elementary school setting in the Burlington, VT area. This role involves providing direct speech and language therapy services onsite to elementary-aged students, supporting their communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments for elementary students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student performance
• Participate in meetings and provide consultation related to speech and language services
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required
• Experience working in schools and with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong understanding of speech and language developmental milestones and disorders in children
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with school staff
• Completion of CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) strongly desired
