Ideal Qualifications And Experience
- Holds or eligible for SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, or SLPA credentials
- Background in school-based speech therapy, pediatric care, or teletherapy strongly preferred
- Knowledge and application of best practices for elementary-aged caseloads
- Experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), progress monitoring, and collaborating with educators and families
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organization skills
- Adaptable to diverse student needs and therapy delivery modes (in-person or virtual)
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students as assigned
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized therapy plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation and goal-setting
- Coordinate with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student progress
- Monitor and report outcomes, adapting interventions as needed
