A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatric and telespeech services within a school setting in Ketchikan, Alaska. This role involves delivering remote and in-person speech therapy to students, focusing on enhancing communication skills through tailored interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide telespeech and pediatric speech-language pathology services to students.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to meet each student's communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation according to school and state guidelines.
  • Comply with all relevant regulatory and certification requirements.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Valid Type C Special Services Certificate for Alaska is mandatory.
  • Preference given to candidates with prior experience working in Alaska schools.
  • Expertise in telespeech service delivery and pediatric speech-language therapy.
  • Ability to work independently under a 1099 contract arrangement.
  • Professional liability insurance must be obtained before beginning the contract.

Work Schedule And Contract Details

  • 1099 contract position offering 32.5 hours per week.
