Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Merrillville, Indiana

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Required Qualifications And Experience

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
• Active state licensure appropriate for school-based practice
• Prior experience providing SLP services in schools, particularly with pediatric populations
• Strong proficiency in teletherapy platforms and technology
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and students in a virtual setting
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging speech and language therapy services to students through a virtual/teletherapy model
• Conduct evaluations, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to address student needs
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings, staff consultations, and relevant professional development
