Qualifications And Desired Experience
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in pediatrics, specifically within school settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is highly desirable
- Background working as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in schools is a plus
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in adolescents
- Ability to manage a caseload in a junior high school environment
- Provide speech-language therapy services to junior high school students, addressing communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
