OR Registered Nurse | Granbury, Texas

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced operating room registered nurse with a strong background in circulating duties. This is a contract position supporting surgical services with a focus on delivering excellent patient outcomes in a team-oriented environment. Your expertise in a variety of specialties will be highly valued and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring each patient receives focused, individualized care in the operating room.

Schedule/Hours

• Days: Tuesday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call required: 5 to 7 days per month
  
  

Key Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR circulator
• Proficiency in orthopedic, urology, gynecology, general surgery, robotics XI, and endoscopy cases
• Strong background with paper charting
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience handling 1:1 patient ratios in an OR setting
  
  

Responsibilities

• Circulate in a dynamic OR environment supporting up to 6 OR suites and 2 endoscopy rooms
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient safety and care
• Assist with all aspects of surgical preparation, intraoperative procedures, and post-operative processes
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
• Adhere to high standards of infection control, documentation, and compliance protocols
