Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment in accordance with safety and infection control standards
- Collaborate with surgical teams including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and technicians to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes throughout procedures
- Assist with patient positioning and maintain sterile techniques to minimize risk of infection
- Document nursing care and patient responses accurately and timely
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Proven experience working as an RN in an operating room setting
- Knowledge of surgical instrumentation, aseptic techniques, and perioperative care protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
