Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Proven experience working as a Surgical Technologist or with Nursing - ORT skills in operating room settings
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, surgical instrumentation, and sterile field maintenance
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Familiarity with a variety of surgical procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields
- Assist surgeons and the healthcare team during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs
- Ensure all supplies, instruments, and equipment are prepared and functioning prior to surgeries
- Implement infection control practices and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Support room set-up and turnover for surgical cases
- Collaborate with operating room staff to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after procedures
- Document relevant details accurately and in compliance with facility protocols
