Responsibilities Include
- Delivering high-quality sign language interpretation through teletherapy sessions
- Collaborating closely with the student to facilitate effective communication in educational settings
- Maintaining professional standards according to state and national guidelines
- Minimum of 3.5 EIPA rating or higher
- Registration with the Kansas Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (KCDHH) is required or must be initiated promptly
- Requirements for registration include one of the following: 4.0 EIPA or ESSE; national certification such as RID, advanced BEI; KQAS Level 4 or above; Certified Deaf Interpreter; or Qualified Video Remote Interpreter
- Contracted role for the 20252026 school year
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- 1099 teletherapy position
- Working remotely
