Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation and intervention to students with diverse needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Utilize evidence-based practices to improve students functional performance in classroom and daily activities.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Provide training and recommendations to staff for implementing therapeutic strategies within the school environment.
- Maintain compliance with school policies, state and federal regulations related to special education services.
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure.
- Experience working as an OT in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of pediatric therapy practices and educational interventions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations.
