This full-time contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services, supporting students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students to support their educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assess student needs and document progress regularly.
- Adapt therapeutic interventions to meet diverse student needs in a school setting.
- Communicate effectively with school staff and families to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license with experience in school-based OT services.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload of students across all K-12 grade levels.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Knowledge of IEP development and educational regulations.
- Ability to begin immediately and commit through the end of the school year.
- Primary work sites include schools in Olympia and Spanaway, Washington.
