Occupational Therapist School Setting - Olympia, WA

This full-time contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services, supporting students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The position is located in Olympia, WA, with additional work in Spanaway, Washington. The contract begins ASAP and continues through the end of the current school year.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students to support their educational goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Assess student needs and document progress regularly.
• Adapt therapeutic interventions to meet diverse student needs in a school setting.
• Communicate effectively with school staff and families to foster a supportive learning environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license with experience in school-based OT services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload of students across all K-12 grade levels.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Knowledge of IEP development and educational regulations.
• Ability to begin immediately and commit through the end of the school year.
