Occupational Therapist School Setting - Longmont, CO

An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based therapy to provide services within educational settings in the Denver area. This full-time, contract position, based in Longmont, CO, will support students across various schools within a local district, with assignments and caseloads to be determined in coordination with district staffing and direct hires.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services aligning with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for school-aged children.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement interventions supporting student success.
• Conduct assessments and document student progress according to district and state guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning and educational goals.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant policies, licenses, and certification requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification.
• Active Colorado Occupational Therapy (OT) license.
• Experience working within school settings preferred.
• Ability to complete background check and fingerprinting as required by the district.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
  
  

Position Details

• Contract duration: August 6, 2026 May 26, 2027.
• Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Caseload varies by school assignment; ages served include school-aged children.
• Onsite work required in Denver area schools.
