Occupational Therapist School Setting - Jacksonville, AR

An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist or a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with virtual supervision to provide services in the educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year (September through June) in the Jacksonville, AR area. This contract position supports children aged 3 to 5 across four school locations within close proximityeach within a 15-minute drive in the Woodruff area.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions to young children in school settings.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes.
• Provide virtual supervision if functioning as a COTA under an OTs guidance.
• Adapt therapy services to accommodate individual student needs and promote school success.
  
  

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children (3 to 5 years old) in school or clinical settings.
• Ability to deliver onsite therapy services preferred for OTs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work approximately 24 hours weekly, with potential for up to 40 hours.
