Occupational Therapist School Setting in Walterboro, SC

A rewarding opportunity is available for two Occupational Therapists to provide essential services within a school setting supporting students from PreK through 12th grade. This contract position is based in Walterboro, SC, and offers a structured 37.5-hour workweek from the start date through the end of the school year (ASAP to EOSY).

Responsibilities Include

• Delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to students across all grade levels (PreK-12).
• Assessing students' abilities and developing individualized treatment plans to support their educational goals.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student participation and success.
• Utilizing teletherapy methods as needed to deliver effective therapy remotely.
• Providing healthcare and home health occupational therapy services in alignment with school requirements when applicable.
• Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records according to school and healthcare regulations.
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant credentials in school-based therapy.
• Experience or training in teletherapy and delivering remote occupational therapy services.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices within educational and healthcare settings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
