An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide vital therapy services within a small charter school environment located in Minneapolis, MN. This contract position offers a flexible schedule, primarily two days per week with the possibility of increasing to 2-3 days based on student needs.
This role involves managing a caseload of approximately 35 students, ranging from kindergarten through 8th grade (ages 514). These students present a diverse range of academic, behavioral, and related service needs, providing an engaging and rewarding professional experience. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a special education team to support student growth and success.

- Delivering occupational therapy services through a blend of push-in, pull-out, and consultative methods.
- Supporting students' functional abilities to enhance participation in school activities.
- Using SPED Forms for effective IEP management and documentation.
- Embracing various service delivery models, including teletherapy and hybrid options, to meet the unique needs of students and families.
- Working closely with educators and support staff to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
- Licensed OT or COTA with appropriate supervision arrangements.
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in K8 settings.
- Ability to support students with diverse academic and behavioral challenges.
- Comfort with teletherapy platforms and hybrid service delivery is beneficial.
- Strong collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.
