Occupational Therapist School Setting in Laurinburg, NC

A certified Occupational Therapist is needed for a contract position supporting students in a K-8 school setting. This role requires a dedicated professional skilled in school-based occupational therapy services, with experience spanning healthcare and home health environments being advantageous. The position operates from January 6, 2026, through May 22, 2026, providing 37.5 hours per week of direct support to students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.

Location: Laurinburg, NC

Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to the specific needs of students in the K-8 range.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Evaluate students abilities and progress through ongoing assessments.
• Provide consultative services to school staff to promote inclusive, accessible learning environments.

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials.
