Occupational Therapist School Setting in Cambridge, MN

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist for a maternity leave covering October 26th, 2026 through March 29th, 2027. This role is based in a school environment near Cambridge, MN, and welcomes both on-site and virtual OTs. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team of educators while also providing supervision to a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Ideal Experience & Qualifications

• Current or pending state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Competence with educational documentation, goal setting, and IEP processes
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communicator who can collaborate with students, staff, and families
• Experience in providing supervision is highly valued

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Assess students’ functional abilities in school settings and recommend interventions
• Create and implement therapy plans to promote student success and participation
• Regularly track progress, maintain records, and contribute to IEP team meetings
• Supervise a COTA, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as needed
• Partner with teachers and school staff to ensure cohesive support for students
• Adapt therapy modalities for both in-person and virtual delivery, as applicable
