Occupational Therapist School Setting in Brighton, CO

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based therapy to join a full-time contract position in Brighton, CO for the 2026/2027 school year. This role involves providing onsite occupational therapy services to a large caseload within a busy educational setting, supporting the developmental and functional goals of students.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and interventions in a school environment
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Utilize therapeutic techniques to improve students fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
• Manage and prioritize a caseload of 100 students, with assistance from a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Provide ongoing documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant school-based experience
• Knowledge of educational regulations and student-centered therapeutic practices
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience working with large caseloads in school settings

This full-time contract position offers a competitive rate of $90/hr and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic school environment.
