Occupational Therapist School Setting in Bellevue, WA

A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in a vibrant school district located in Bremerton, WA. This in-person role offers 37.5 hours per week, working directly with K-12 students to support their developmental and educational needs through specialized occupational therapy services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and consultative services to K-12 students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary to promote functional outcomes in academic and daily living skills
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
  
  

Qualifications

• Current, active Washington state Occupational Therapy license
• Experience working in school-based settings preferred
• Ability to engage children and young adults across a broad grade spectrum (K-12)
• Must be an Occupational Therapist (OT); candidates who are Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) or using telehealth services will not be considered
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to foster collaboration with school staff and families
  
  

This is a contracted opportunity that emphasizes hands-on, direct service delivery within the school environment. The position will run from August 31, 2026, through June 16, 2027.
