Occupational Therapist School Setting in Anaheim, CA

An opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services to support a diverse K-12 caseload. This role is onsite and located in Compton, CA, offering hands-on experience working directly within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services tailored to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to support students educational goals
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated student support
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
• Participate in meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license with experience in school-based settings
• Strong understanding of pediatric therapeutic strategies and K-12 educational needs
• Ability to manage a full caseload while providing compassionate and effective interventions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to working onsite to foster direct collaboration and immediate support

• Position is based in Compton, CA
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Onsite service delivery
• Contract from ASAP through End of School Year (EOSY), with possible extensions into summer and beyond
