Occupational Therapist School Setting - Exeter, CA

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapist license required
• Prior experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet a diverse range of student needs
  
  

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions for students with varying abilities
• Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain thorough and organized documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and other service providers to support student success
• Provide consultation and training to school personnel on strategies for supporting students' motor and sensory development
• Communicate progress and recommendations to families, fostering a team approach to student growth
