Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Modesto, CA

Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1 years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide vital patient care and expert imaging services across two busy facilities. In this dynamic contract role, you will operate state-of-the-art nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring precise imaging procedures and contributing to high-quality diagnostic outcomes.

Schedule

• Mondays: Sutter Tracy – 10-hour day shifts
• Tuesdays: Mercy Merced – 10-hour day shifts
• Wednesdays: Mercy Merced – 10-hour day shifts
• Thursdays: Mercy Merced – 10-hour day shifts
  
  

The assignment is for an initial 8-week duration, with the potential to extend based on department needs. The position begins as soon as possible.

Key Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (CNMT or ARRT-N)
• Demonstrated proficiency in all areas of nuclear medicine imaging
• Ability to effectively operate imaging and diagnostic equipment
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and patient-centered approach
  
  

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures according to physician’s orders
• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely
• Ensure proper patient positioning and provide clear instructions throughout procedures
• Accurately document imaging results and maintain comprehensive patient records
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care
