Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum one year of recent experience in a NICU setting
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
- Strong ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates, including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and performing specialized interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate and support families on neonatal conditions, treatments, and home care needs
- Accurately document patient care activities and changes in condition
- Maintain infection control and safety standards within the unit
