Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Are you passionate about helping students strengthen their communication skills and succeed in the classroom? We’re seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K–12 students in a district near Scranton for the upcoming school year.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Pennsylvania SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA CCCs preferred, but CFs are welcome to apply
• Experience working with pediatric populations (school-based experience preferred)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations
  
  

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and assist with goal development
• Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress
• Provide families with resources and support strategies
