MRI Technologist - Sacramento, CA

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, Fridays through Sundays: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Required on-call: 8 shifts per month, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 30-minute response time for call assignments
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an MRI technologist
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) credentials
• Valid California Radiologic Technologist license
• Ability to meet call response times and flexible to cover scheduled weekends
  
  

Preferred Experience & Certifications

• ARRT (CT) and California Fluoroscopy permit
• Previous experience with GE Short bore 24x MRI systems
• Familiarity with hospital-based cross-sectional imaging protocols
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Operate MRI and CT equipment for accurate diagnostic imaging in a hospital setting
• Prepare and position patients, following safety and comfort protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and nurses to ensure high-quality patient care
• Respond efficiently to on-call requirements and urgent imaging needs
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
• Complete documentation and follow HIPAA and facility compliance protocols
