Qualifications
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
- Experience operating MRI equipment and protocols
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, positioning, and imaging techniques
- Thorough understanding of MRI safety guidelines for patients and staff
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Effective communication with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams
- Current BLS certification
- Perform high-quality MR imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, safety screening, and care throughout the exam process
- Operate and maintain MRI scanners, ensuring accurate image acquisition and equipment functionality
- Accurately document patient information and maintain clear, organized records
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure images are diagnostically optimal and timely delivered
- Uphold rigorous infection control and safety standards within the imaging suite
