Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Madison, WI

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum one year of recent med-surg experience
• Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and adapt to changing priorities
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
• Monitor and document patient responses, reporting any changes or concerns
• Collaborate efficiently with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff
• Provide education and support to patients and families to ensure understanding and adherence to care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with policies and regulations
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times
